Depends what personality you're looking for and what you want of them in return.
I have a half GSD/Rottie and i'm loving him ^^., The pure rottie in the other hand.. err.. so much energy -_-

Edit: check out Akita ^_^ if you like big dogs & fluffy

What are the personality differences exactly?

I know they're both marvelous. I'm looking for a tough yet kind, loyal, best companion by my side; a very intelligent dog

A husky has an insane amount of energy.
Very very smart which is a good and bad thing in this case, a husky is a stubborn breed easy to train aslong as you keep their attention.

If you want a dog you can walk with off lead and stay beside you and play fetch a german shepher is the the best choice. they are easy to train loyal obediant and good guard dogs. if someone broke in your house the husky would probly be happy to see a new face.

to decide you should post your life style how long you have for walks and training ect.

i own a husky so i know how great and bad they are. always wanted a german shepherd though they are cool.

Prefer husky for look, but don't know about comportement.

I had a german shepherd, they are pretty easy to train and like people.

Agree with Sire.
Please take a few weeks to a month before deciding which breed you would end up with and also take your time finding the right breeder for your pup.
