Uh...that's nothing. Don't even call that abuse. It's insulting to people who have actually brought dogs out of abusive environments.

how is this insultin to them? this is psychological abuse.

if it's done on a regular basis it certainly is but done once off i wouldn't classify it as such
and have you ever seen a dog physically abused by humans to (near) death?
or dogs which have been mauled by a vicious uncontrolled dog?

nope and nope. i admit the topic title may have been in bad taste.

to see one of the "minor" examples go and visit north italy
in rural areas they still cut one of the front legs of truffle dogs off

but the sight of a badly abused or mauled dog is something you will never forget your whole life
you can't imagine how cruel humans can be to other humans or pet animals
