First off, I am convinced my cat isnt all there mentally. I have a bengal leopard, about 8 years old, was $350 from the shop. This is honestly the meanest cat Ive ever met, and I was wondering if there is a way to fix that.

What my cat does:

- Hides under a bed, and runs out and bites my moms ankle before she goes to bed for no reason at all, usually drawing blood.
- Will allow you to pet her for about 20 seconds, and then she will grab your hand and bite.
- Overall just a vicious cat, to the point that we cant even trim her nails, we used to have to hold her down with a blanket to be able to do that and then just gave up.
- Meows like a devil when she is angry, and wont stop until you leave her alone, this noise is way different than her normal meow. She also hisses quite often too.

This cat has the easiest life in the world, there is absolutely 0 abuse for people that think that may be a route cause, but no.

When she does bite someone though, she will usually get chased down and get a good love tap, which she does deserve.

Also, me and my mom feel the kitten was taken from her mother too early, we had to feed her with a bottle and spray water on her stomach to make her go in the litter box. I do feel like this could be a main cause of why she is such a lame cat, but wouldst she learn that there is no harm, and that the people around her love her or are they that dumb?

Is there a better way to teach this cat to stop being a fuckin idiot?

Holy shit - no, thats it - this cat will bite forever.


I read title and thought "OH, kitten, easy fix" but as a grown cat, I don't think it can stop.

When Kittens bite n scratch all the time, I have found the if you play fight back with them, but harder, they will stop quite quickly. Like when he bites your finger, just push your entire hand into his face and the cat will usually just move away from you, and sulk lol

See though, there is no playing with this cat, none. It is impossible, and the cat does not think your playing either, it will just keep biting and never stop, that or run away.

I like my cat, but there is nothing else to call her but stupid, trust me. She is picky will not even eat any table scraps not even tuna, we had to try many types of food, until eventually California Natural worked, which to my knowledge is good cat food.

This cat really doesn't play with cat nip or anything for that matter so idk.


E - my cat hates water though, would the spraying with water thing work?

It sounds like, no offense, that no one in your household knows how to raise or socialize a cat.

Spraying water to stimulate going to the bathroom as a kitten. NO. Gentle wiping with a moist wash cloth to replace mom's tongue.
Chasing her down after she bites. NO. Honestly, read some books on cat behavior. This is possibly the worst thing you could have done in socializing this cat. Congrats on fucking her up for life. She sees you and your mom as a threat now.
Buying her from a pet store. NO. What were you thinking. Buying any animal from a pet store is like asking for the worse case scenario. No offense to pet store employees, but they don't know how to treat animals in a caged environment.
