Of course not. Adopt a dog though from a shelter. There are lots of great dogs out there that need a home.

I had a basset hound and I didn't get another dog for years afer he passed away. My girlfriend had a dog and suggested that I adopt one from a shelter, so I wound up getting this adorable girl who I've had for almost a year now:

By the way, that dog is straight up adorable.
--I'll go get a dog soon, not sure when, maybe in the month of February
and I'll post a pic of him/her on here. :)
