*EDIT* To my poll, She is 6 months and 45 pounds.*****************************************************************************

Hey, i got my dog about 4 months ago and she's been doing fine but i've heard around that its healthy for wolf dog hybrids to consume the extra protein
If anyone has any experience or has one of there own i'd love to hear your opinions.

Oh and if anybody has some awesome tricks i could teach her, she already knows how to:
Sit
Lay down
Play dead
Roll over
Shake
"which one" (i hold a treat in my hand and hold out an empty hand and the hand with the treat, she sniffs and paws the correct hand)

Any suggestions?

Years ago back around 2002 we had a random dog that kept jumping in the back of our truck when we were leaving after we got done camping. (it jumped in 2-3 times after we took it out) So we took it home. Put some fliers around to see if anyone owned it and no one came after 2 weeks so we took it to the vet to get it checked out and it turned out it was 97% gray wolf :P and it was somewhere around 135-145 pounds and male. Was also 2-3 years old they believed.

It's a hybrid meaning that it's part wolf and probably husky. From the face it looks wolf but from the coat maybe husky? Not sure.

You could teach her fetch which isn't on your list :P also she won't get anywhere over 120 pounds and by the looks of her she's pretty small right now so ima say around 90-100 pounds is highest she will get. And we feed ours a little bit of meat but not much mainly deer meat. We didn't want it turning on anyone cause we were told it was wild.

Thats exactly right, she's 1/4 husky, she's also 3/8 Gray wolf and 3/8 Artic :)

Yeah thats what i was guessing, I read that female wolves grow 10-15lbs smaller then the males. So thats a very accurate guess.

I really want her to learn to play frisbee but she hasn't gotten the hang of it yet. We're working on fetch she gets the ball and brings it back on her own time lol.

I wouldn't feed her raw meat.

I would, instead, do some research on a higher protein dog food.

After all, the last thing we want is to reawaken some of her encoded instinct ;)
