is acting weird. Last Saturday my dog ran away, and I thought he was w/ my brother at his friends house, but wasn't(I went to a friend's house the rest of Saturday, stayed the night, stayed til afternoon on Sunday and went home). The dog came back the next day on Sunday, and he looked like he's sick, no energy, not himself, but he looks perfectly healthy and eating, figured because he was tired from no rest or w/e. Yesterday he was fine and full of energy and was himself, but today he looks like he looks sick again, but he isn't coughing or anything like that. And we had another dog today at the house, and he loves to play with her all the time, but wasn't himself and wasn't playing w/ her. He's eating his food, and is going to outside for pee/poop. If he's still like this tomorrow, should I take him to a vet or what? Dunno what to do.

Sometimes when a dog wonders off like that could be it knows that it's about to pass away.. From the sound of it your dog is pretty old. Should take it to the vet and get it checked out.

he's only about 2-3 years old, he runs away b/c of a girl dog in our neighborhood. so it's not that.

Oh, that means that the other dog is probably in heat which is nothing to worry about really lol..

You're contradicting yourself there. Absolutely get him check out. Is he up to date on vaccines? Is he fixed, is the female fixed, is the female up to date on vaccines? Did he legitimately get out, or are you one of those pet owners that just kinda lets their pets do whatever. If you think he's looking sick, then you need to take him to see the vet, get his balls chopped, and make sure that he's fully vaccinated.
