Well, since I troll these forums and criticize freely. Here are a handful of pics of some of my dogs.
I am a Veterinary Tech, Professional Handler, AKC delegate for the Green Mountain Dog Club, I manage a boarding kennel and grooming business as well. My family has raised and shown Siberians for over 30 years. I have been ranked among the top handlers in the country and appeared on multiple national tv shows including and interview with Martha Stewart. I have competed at the Westminster Kennel Club show at Madison Square Garden in New York City multiple times.
On top of my experience with dogs, I also have cats. I do some work with horses as well.

Showing and winning on a rainy day. This is Aleksai. I handle him for some folks out of Maine.

My puppy Steve, fostered his mom and his siblings when they came into the local shelter, adopted Steve:

Steve's brother Mooshie on the day he had to go back to the shelter to be adopted out :(

Steve at 5 Months, visting Great Falls on the Potomac river in Virginia:

You may have noticed Steve and Mooshie look a little different?
They both are what is called a Woolie Siberian. It is a defective gene in the breed and makes them have a longer, plush, soft coat that does not repel snow and water and does not insulate them. If they had to perform as sled dogs or live outside they would not survive. Their coat packs with snow and freezes and does not dry out. It looks very cute, but takes a ton of work to maintain it (good thing I am a groomer) and is a not a desirable trait.

less than a lab

they only shed 2-3 times a year, rest of the time they are not shedding.
i am a groomer so just a bath and a blow out with the force driers and a brush out, 2 hours later done.

Man, I LOVE your husky (1st pic), I live in Montreal and I just adopted a husky 2-3 months ago, he had 8 weeks.
Thats something i recomend to everyone. Not specifically huskies because they are alot of work, but adopting a dog. After that, life is way better.
