I have a 6yr old black lab and hes had an ear infection before and I got it taken care of.
Recently his ear's have worked up a smell and I heard from a few people that it's because his ears hang over his ear holes all day.
Is this correct? and if not what should I do?

You could call your Vet about this... all it would take is a call. Anyhow, I don't know. If his ears do hang over his ear holes all day, then obviously it traps more bacteria, etc etc. The only thing I could think of is to gently clean your dogs ears. Talk to your vet about having him do it, or you could do it yourself, and just ask the vet how to go about it, and whether to use just plain water or what.

Call your vet. My brothers olde english bulldog gets this all the time. There is this thing like eye drops, just a few drops in each ear and you massage their ear to get all the crap. It comes out looking like res from a bong, really gross.

i have drops. its for ear mites tho. i put 10 drops in every day or every other day and it dont seem to work fast enough :/

What he uses it called automaxx and it's meant for this. Talk to your vet, best solution.
