I'm sorry to hear that
I can't tell you what to do. There are options. You could try to treat it, or save your dog a vast amount of pain and put him to sleep. There are numerous options, and I can't tell you which one is right for you. You may wish to talk to your vet further on this.

I'm so sorry for you. May I ask how old your dog is? Most important is that he does not suffer. :-(

put it down, it'll be best in the end. my parents bought a rottweiler puppy 2 weeks be4 i was born so we literally grew up together, before we moved we put him down because he was on heart medication and a bunch of other pills and it was bad enough for him. so i think the best thing for you to do is put him down, it may be hard at first bu after a while you get used to it and accept the fact that it's what is best. sorry to hear about this though.

My friend had a dog who developed a lump like that in his hind quarter. He came home one day and there was blood all over the house and a lump of cancer on the floor. The dog was found dead in the basement with a hole missing from his leg.

Don't make your dog do the same.

Well the vet seems to think she will be okay for now...
