About the size of an average cereal bowl. From what I've read they get to be about 70-100 pounds and live for decades.

Is that a sulcata tortoise? If so it is going to be a big mother fucker.

I have one, started out no bigger than half my palm, now he/she is at 40-50 IBS and and can fit in my wheel barrel.

Nice tortoise though :)

Yep, I read they get to be 70 - 100 lbs and live for decades.

All this dude does is eat, sleep, walk around my backyard, walk around my bed, etc.

Greatest animal ever.
