I'm gonna get one when I move out which should be pretty soon. I know they require a lot of care/attention, just wondering how much.

the pet versions are usually rigged not to spray stinky juice.

The glands that produce their "spray" is removed for pet owners.

I've heard that they are very friendly and love attention but I'm not sure about their care.

My step dads old friend use to have a skunk for a pet he said it was just like a dog!

I really want a skunk to be honest. I love rare animals, problem is, my parents disagree

Yah, I've heard skunks and surprisingly raccoons raised from infancy as pets make great companions.
