K so next year im going to be living in an apartment for 8 months of the year (school) then home for summer for 4 months


during that time i will be coming home for odd weekends (leaving friday night and coming back on sunday) so the animal has to be fine on its own for 1 day (shudnt be a problem with leaving proper food/water out for it and cleaning cage that day)



also do any make for easy travel seeing as how i go home for a week during march break (called reading week)..usually take the train..idk if pets can go on the train (would be using a carry cage tho obv)

cat would be the only viable option if you don't want your apartment to smell like shit.

what are you talking about, cat poop always smells gross unless you light a candle daily or leave the window open constantly

my first year at college i had fish... i got new ones like 6 times, til i finally said i failed as having fish as pets and tried to get a turtle lol

no i could never find one. all the pet stores were always out of turtles, or only had large ones for like $500.

Hate to say it, but if your lizard smells... Then you're doing something wrong. only thing "smelly" about most reptiles are their shits, and that's true about any animal.

Depends a lot on what your apartment will allow, personally I would go with some sort of reptile if they allow exotics, ferret if not. Ferrets can be de-scented, and honestly I think they're so cute and fun to play with... Lizards are easy as hell to take care of, or if you're interested, snakes are even easier.
