Anyone ever own a pair or more at once? My smaller one bites the larger one a lot. Most recently it has got so severe that I decided to put them in separate tanks. He bit the nose and it went really red....you could tell it hurt cause whenever its nose touched the glass, it would quickly react in pain.
These guys have been together for over 10 years.
Any opinions?

could be a lot of reasons why it just started happening. could be irritated by something in the tank or anything.
