This here be the ferret known as Kitty. Forgive the terrible, low quality phone picture...

Sleeping, as per usual, the little ferocious bundle of fun dreams of getting stuck in places that will piss me off.

This picture is actually of her when she was much younger. She is a few years old now and still doing fantastic.

Lots of work actually. They poop every two or so hours, they need their nails taken care of weekly, cage 'freshening' every 2-3 days, full cage clean every week, ect, ect.

lol, yeah that was taken with my old razor phone. Terrible picture of her, but one of these days I'll get a better one up for you guys.

And as for the ferociousness, it really varies from ferret to ferret.

They all have very individual personalities and you really need to sit and play with them before you buy them.

Kitty is a sweetheart. She does nip, but it's all play bites and they have never been a cause of discomfort for me.

She is quiet and relatively well behaved (for a ferret... If that's possible XD)

All and all she's an awesome ferret/friend.

I can't say I blame you.

I was caught unaware of how labor intensive they could be.

All and all, it's not so bad once you put it all into routine.

If it helps to alleviate any of your apprehension, they can be trained to use a litter box (granted they still miss from time to time, but you hasn't had to wipe the toilet rim in their life  )

Four guinea pigs and some fish.

We're looking into maybe getting a dog soon, but that's all up in the air.
