potty trained or not? do they smell bad? make for good pets? etc, etc.

its OLLDDDDD now, i got it back in grade school and its still lurking!!
they're pretty good pets (for simple rodents)

they can be potty trained, as in they'll find a corner of the cage and poop there, but if they can't access that area theyll go anywhere.
they love exercise (what pet doesnt)
you can get litter for their cage which has smell absorbing capability
theyre quite fun (for rodents - id say the most amusing), cheap and easy to take care of.

at minimum all you need is to clean their cage/ give new shavings food water etc. every couple of days and give them some exercise

i had one for a few years


feed it a tiny bit, and itll poop nonstop and everywhere.

also, if u let it run loose in your house it WILL poop everywhere.

my mom bought me a boy and girl when I was younger- they had a billion babies- non-stop, I think it's like a 2 week pregnancy or something.. it was insane. And the dad would hump the babies.. we finally seperated them and kept them for a few years but all I remember is poop and babies- NON STOP.

I had a pet rabbit when I was younger, I don't remember much except we usually kept him in a cage.

i had about 300 rabbits at any given time growing up yes they can be potty trained no they dont stink a female(doe) is better than a male for a single pet especially if you are keeping it in a cage because males (bucks) will piss off the side of their cages the gestation period of a rabbit is 28-31 days and its not a rodent.
