He's very handsome- I bet he was alot of fun when he was young. Is he a swimmer? I grew up with alot of labs (both my Grandpa's have always had one)
And as far as passing goes:

Lupita was my first dog got her when i was 6- my mom was a property manager at some apartments and the tenants couldn't controll her and didn't wanna get evicted (she bit people) so they were going to have to put her to sleep. My mom kept her to "find her a new home" but turns out she wasn't that poplular and we ended up keeping her wild self!

Anyway, we put her to sleep last year when I was 21, she was old but still walking around. She kept getting lumps in her throat and legs that we would have removed only find it wasn't cancerous. but it was too much for her to have to keep doing that and she couldn't jump anymore. I loved her sooo much i thought I would turn into the excersist if she ever died and lock my self in the room scratching walls and shit- my friends all joked about how I would go crazy. Turns out it was such a peaceful and well deserved "sleep" that it didn't ever get to me. I miss her still, but with the circumstances I look back on her life and only remember positive things
