My youngest dog bandit, he'll be 2 in december. Father was part staffordshire and shepard. Mother(stormy) was part husky and lab.
His mother looked just like him, minus the eyes. His father was pure black(spooky), with dark blue eyes. I got him from my uncle.
Both of his parents were rescue dogs found on the side of the road abandoned.
It turned out, all the males in the litter looked exactly like the mom with the light blue eyes and all the females were black with the dark blue eyes.
I wanted one of the black ones, but I couldn't get a female with my older dog. Didn't want to tempt him in his old age. Heh.

When he was just a baby. His name was originally houdini because he would break out of his cage, nudge the other pups to the edge and climb out of the boxes.
They'd find him hiding in the clothes hamper all the way at the bottom. He got his name bandit after stealing my shoes, phone and keys one day.

Shows his eyes very well, such a cutey he is. And he uses this face when he wants something.

During the big snowstorm in the east coast two years ago.
I didn't get a video of the snowdrifts that he hopped into and completely disappeared.
That's my 4 wheeler trailer under the snow, he actually climbed all the way up on top to look around before I took the video.

Caught him chewing on an empty ink cartridge that was in the box. I took it from him and said "What do you think you're doing?" when he gave this face.

During the snowstorm. My neighbors let their dogs out and he hopped over to go play and try to eat the brown dog that looks like him.
They slammed into each other and couldn't get back out of the snow drifts.
Was cute, ended up tearing a pair of jeans up getting over the fence to break them up before they hurt each other.
To this day they go nuts at each other through the fence. Only dog he's ever had a problem with.
Through the fence, they gnash and bark and growl at each other.
So me and my neighbor decided to put them on leashes and let them sniff each other up close.
They literally butted heads, barked at each other and then tried to mount each other and then kind of just sat next to each of us and ignored each other.
But once that fence is between them, they go nuts.

My oldest dog, Comet. He's 16 now. Lab rotwiler mix. Father was a rot, mother was a lab.
We picked him up at the vet we used for my previous dog that was lost. Was a husky.
Hit by a minivan soccer mom going 70 in a 25 zone because she was late for her kids game.
Comet was the runt out of 7 males and 6 females.

He was named comet for the white tip he had on his tail, which disappeared as he got older and then reappeared on his forehead and then vanished again and now showed up on his snout.

This is what he does when you're sitting there eating when he's creating a drool puddle on the floor, you look over at him and he'll look away.

My old lady had the puppy in her hands came up behind me to gave me a kiss while I was snapping the picture, comet barked because the puppy touched me.

He was staring at the puppy, making sure he didn't do anything.

Had my brother hold them together for the picture, oh comet did not want that at all. Bandit just wanted to mount him and play. Comet was like "i'm old, fuck off"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn-Nfb4lqPw
Both of them screwing around trying to express their dominance.
The video cut off with comet pinning bandit against the snow and just looking back at the camera with the look of pure satisfaction.
This is about all they do, they'll run around the yard with a toy in their mouth, snatch it from each other, then run around again.
I was worried that my older dog wouldn't approve but he's almost like a puppy again having the keep up with the younger dog.

The father doesn't have the temperament for a show dog.
He gets teased by a bunch of idiot drunk teenagers over at my uncles because he has a basically open house, so alot of people go through there. He loves family, hates strangers.
If you have a budweiser can in your hand, he'll try to take your nuts.
Everytime I'm over there, he'll smell his son on me and climb onto my lap when I sit down, along with the mother laying across my feet.
They won't budge from that spot and if you approach me, he'll growl at you.

Was sort of a hit and run but I was right behind him. He slipped his chain and ran like a bat out of hell after a rabbit.
He came out and I heard the tires screech and saw the burnt rubber marks. The woman was flying.
By the time I got up to the street, she was already out of her minivan, pushing my dog out of the way.
She was going to leave him there and keep going.
She then had the nerve to say that I was going to pay for her damaged bumper and possible neck injury.
My father came running up along with my neighbors who watched it happen from their porch.
They both grabbed my arms because they said it looked like I was gonna flip.
As soon as my father approached, she got into her vehicle and took off down the street.
No one noticed the license plate, Father filed a police report with the make of the vehicle and her description and nothing ever panned out.

It didn't kill him. He had to have a leg amputated at the hip. It snapped it clean off. Vet gave him away to another family that paid his bills, which I think he was purposely tacking on more and more shit for.

Isn't it technically your fault for letting your dog wander around the streets?
(here at least dogs must be either enclosed in your yard or on a leash when out in public)

Under leash laws alone, yes I would be liable. Unfortunately for her, there's this thing called "clean hands doctrine"
By violating the law, speeding 75 in a 25 school zone, she would have no case.
Not to mention the whole hit and run.
My parents could've easily filed and won a civil case against her had the police been able to locate her and had she not fled from the scene after my legal guardian approached her.
