I had to put down my cat Lenore of nearly 15 years about a month ago. It hit me pretty hard. I feel like Im in a limbo state and don't know how Im going to recover. I have 3 others but the house just really feels empty.

Not sure but sorry you are going through that. Idk what I'm going to do when my first goes. probably lose my shit for awhile. He's about 9yo but still going strong.

im more of a dog person but i had one cat that was awesome. only had him a couple years. died way young. that was atleast 6 years ago.

my best friend dog died 10 years ago. still cant think about her without tearing up.

there is no tips for coping in my opinion. it just sucks to not have them.

the place i went to for cremation and picking out urn was a pet and people funeral home. when i said i felt dumb choking up talking to the lady about a pet she said that in her experience costumers were usually more upset about losing their pets than their people.

I dont know what to do sir and dont know what me will do when this will happen to me..

Time.. years will make it easier to not think about but when you loss someone who you love it will not be like before anymore but the memories in your heart, your head in your skin will be all what left and this you will never loss it will be with you forever.

Be strong sir and enjoy everything in life what comes, all other pets, thats all what matters, enjoy life, all the good things all the love and dont loss time with bad useless things/people, that is the key and only what matters

Damn. I came across this because I had a black bear in my back yard just now tossing the grill around and just chilling on my lawn lol. I got a few really bad pics from the upstairs window but beside all that

My condolences for your loss yo. I hope you find comfort in your other three and tell yourself every waking minute for the rest of your days that you gave lenore the best 15 years any cat could ask for and your are the most amazing person ever for doing that.
