Rescue, my dog is a dog who were tied to a tree near the roadway, so I picked him up and he's with me for 1 year now.

Have done both. ^_^ Rescue and buy. Or take in animals people couldn`t take care of properly. Not exactly rescue but misc.

We are up to 4 cats, 3 have been adopted from someone or rescued
10 year old was a gift for my wife from her parents for her 16th bday
7 year old, my moms cat wasn't fixed, got out, had kittens. We got one
2 1/2 year old, wife's dad's friend or something like that got a cat, didn't treat him right and he ended up "biting" according to them, so we took him in. He's now my buddy and hangs with me all the time
7 month old. Wife's friend found him as a 1 lb kitten dying, tried to save him but they had dogs that made it "impossible" according to them. She was originally going to nurse it to health and then adopt it. Of course since she nursed it to health she fell in love with it and we are up to 4

That's how I got 2 cats and one of my dogs. One of my cats got in a fight with a racoon before he made it to my door. When I found him his eye was slashed out, 3 years later and he's doing great....with diminished depth perception

Atm we rescued a puppy from bulgaria, we do alot of work to get those dogs safe and checked up

Bought. German Shepherds are prone to hip and eye issues, and the 'show' sloped hips are terrible for the breed.

As a result, we bought to be sure she was screened for hip dysplasia and all other common GSD health issues, and was a working line, thus not perpetuating the common health issues in the breed or the sloped hips and all of the maladies that come with that.

We rescued one of our cats

sad to say he died this summer. 3 1/2 years we gave him :(

Tia we rescued from a farm the owners where going to give the puppies to the spca she's such a cute dog she will sit there and lick my feet and legs for like 30 minutes I love it lol and she plays ball obsessively it's her favourite :)
