U didn't offer shit. Taking them outside every time on a leech to shit? How stupid is that? Every dog that I've owned has ran to the back door and waited to be let out to go shit after they've been trained. The only one who's mentally called here is u for thinking the only way to get a dog to shit outside is to take em out on a leech. That's ur ONLY solution other than ripping off wiki? Ur a pretty horribad behaviorist if u ask me.
you should stop talking now

can't even read the entire post

Normal d2jsp stuff.
And without more information from the OP it's impossible to setup a treatment plan other than offer basic information on Coprophagia.
To correct a behavior you must first understand why it occurs. Is the dog fearful? has something happened to the dog recently? Is it a medical problem? Is there too much undigested food in the dogs stool?
Many questions to ask that without the OP it's difficult to give a valid diagnosis. But I understand you don't know any of this. Typical uneducated dog owner. That's okay it's my profession not yours.
A treatment plan for Coprophagia involves 4 components.
Those are...
Positive reinforcement of positive behaviors.
(not putting their nose in the stool. Not yelling at them. Not letting them watch as you clean it up. etc etc.)
Positive things like cheering when they go potty in the right spot. Praise. treats. Jackpotting. But never ever negative reinforcement.
Management of the problem and setting the dog up to succeed.
(taking the dog out on a leash every 2 hours. not missing a chance to praise them when they go potty outside. not letting the dog have a full run of the house. etc etc.)
Taking the dog out on a leash and practice the "leave it" command. But this needs to be done with a knowledgeable person.
Consequences for Coprophagia.
For example, For-Bid is a powder that is sprinkled on the dogs food to make the stool unpalatable... Digestive enzymes, such as In Clover, NaturVet, ProZyme, Or Nutri-Vet can help increase protein digestion resulting in less Palatable stool.
But in NO WAY DO YOU EVER PROVIDE NEGATIVE REINFORCEMENT.
Consistency in dealing with Coprophagia.
I'd think that was pretty self-explanatory but with the knowledge and how you've acted I'll lay it out.
As with all un-wanted behaviors consistency is the key to managing and eliminating the problem. Dogs consider Coprophagia a self-rewarding behavior. Therefore they will not miss an opportunity to partake if the opportunity presents itself. Key it to not ever let your dog partake in Coprophagia. Pick up their stool, follow a treatment plan, and contact your vet to make sure there is nothing medically wrong with your dog.
you seem like an owner that enjoys "getting back" at their dog for the unwanted behavior your dog displays. You'll get yours one day.
Now please, piss off I have more important things to do than let some child get to me. Byebye.
