I vote lizard... depending on the variety, heat stones can be used with let external heat... territorial or mating displays are pretty interesting... usually smells cleaner than a any rodent based furry...

ferrets do smell like shit. my roommate had one, it shit so god damn much. then again, my roommate didnt give it hardly any attention....

i voted lizards. i got 2 bearded dragons about 2 months back. thinking green basilisk next. was gonna go with a CWD, but basilisks... females, they are gorgeous.
so many to choose from.
they can get expensive tho. geckos are cheap cuz they dont need all that uvb shit.

Get a bearded dragon, easy beginner lizard and a decent sized one also. They should be placed in a 4 foot long 2 foot wide 2 foot high cage as adults. (40 gallon breeder is the minimum size for an adult)

a 4x2x2 terrarium is like fuckin 120 gallons. 55 would be sufficient. Beardies still tend to be expensive if you ask me. geckos are hella cheap and easy. I was planning on getting a kitten and a puppy together down the road, but my life has been like engulfed with lizards and plans for more. Im leaning towards a basilisk, or a cwd, but my fiance wants to get a tree monitor in the future.
