:< A dog tried raping me once
I was 8
It was giant
Needless to say I lost my virginity that night

I've had mostly good experiences with animals, never been bitten or threatened by a dog or anything.

Where does the city have anything to do with what he posted? He didn't say anything about taking it to the pound, or trying to find a new home.

His sister picked up a stray, didn't know how to take care of it, evidently neither did anyone else in the family. Instead of learning and educating themselves or trying to get help, they put the animal down. In my eyes, you might as well have pulled the trigger yourself.

People like that give real pet owners a bad image.

I think you think you're some good pet owner or something it's pathetic, so you're telling me If you had a child in your house let's say for example 2-3 for the age. Now let's say your dog ran up and bit the kid right in the face. The kid now needs to get hospitalized for what a filthy beast did to it. Now you're telling me you would still allow this animal in your home, and around your kid. Let me guess you would train it first than it would not bite the kid anymore, so it's not a big deal anymore. In my eyes you should pull the trigger.

Now tell me this. What if that dog would have killed the kid in my example and it was your own kid?
You're still telling me that you would not have put it down.

My leopard gecko.

I got it for my kids and I went about it so wrong. It was bought based all on the stores reps advise. (long before I got big on exotic animals)
I bought so may useless things and spent several months redoing its environment and diet along with nursing it back as it was starting to
show signs of MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease).

Rep told me it was pregnant so I bout an incubator along with other useless junk. He stated sand was best for a substrate. Advised me it could handle much lower temps then
what it should be housed in. The fact that he claimed it was healthy was the worst though. Suggest toxic plants when I explained to him I was considering a true vivarium.

Just overall bad experience all around. Three months later when I had her established I had a huge talk with him and his boss and had him removed as the reptile expert for the store.
Since then I have worked with the store helped manage some very sick animals they have had and became good friends with the owner.

I had a similar experience like this one.
Around the fair there was this one game that had a chance of the biggest reward being some Lizard thing. Well I somehow won it.
And, than I ever cared for it properly and it still just did not move from it's spot we set it in. Than ended up taking to to some doctor place and the doctor said he would keep it.
