dont forget, huskies are bread for cold climates. if you live in a warmer climate like me (north carolina) you may have to limit outdoor walks and keep A/C lower than normal. (in my case, its not that it gets way too hot here, but humidity is horrible)
as for establishing an "alpha male" role, huskies are similar (though not identical) to the malamute, where if someone breaks into your house with a gun, pistol whips you over the head, your dog is more likely to go with the rober than protect you because the rober is establishing more of an alpha male role over you. though ive never had a rober break into my house not had an indoor malamute
nah, once a huskey establishes the alpha male, it doesnt change within moments, it takes weeks, even months to become that dominant person in the dog's life
i wouldnt reccommend them for a guard dog either way, because if they can't intimidate, they will probably kill a person intruding, and it's cause for being put down, EVEN IF it's an intruder
