Pure breed golden retriever :D he's almost 9 months now..
Got him when he was ~ 3 months. He was a PAIN to train though holy fack!

They are super smart, they learn tricks etc in a day or less if you do it right but as far as getting overly excited; jumping on people... Forget it. Rofl

He was, however, really easy to house train. Only had a handful of accidents while training and never needed puppy pads. GG

Hahah
Our golden was really aggressive as a puppy, cute as hell, but aggressive.
When you say golden you'd think it's the most beautiful & nice dog ever but we had some problems with him when he was a puppy, alot of discipline training hours I tell ya.. now hes as cute & nice as one should be :D #worth

Rofl mine isn't aggressive thank god. He does nip really hard when he has to go outside though -.- not at first. First he will look like he's just trying to play and if you ignore that he needs to go out he gets a little aggressive lmao never ever barks unless he thinks someone is at the door or hears an unfamiliar sound which I love.

He does however have separation anxiety to the max though :( hatesssssss being alone omg. Had to get him a bark collar unfortunately. Didn't wanna go that route but almost got kicked out of my apartment for him barking for 2 hours straight when me and gf were switching shifts xD he's doing a lot better now though

Hehe yeah that sounds like a golden right there
Our never barks unless we tell him to, oh and maybe sometimes when he is calling for other dogs to play with him and jump around or w/e.. and maybe if someone approaches him slowly and weirdly I guess, but almost never.

Yeah that is indeed a problem, however with time he will just learn that you will come back eventually I think? :P
When I leave the home he just lays down and guards the door it seems like, and when I come back he is still there just laying out and about ^_^
I don't think dogs can "feel" how long one has been gone for, wether it's 30 min or 8 hours. Maybe they can & I'm entirely wrong but that's what I've heard.
