you gotta love the maintenance to love the hobby. it isn't overly time consuming. a couple hours a week of cleaning/regular checks to make sure everything is working properly. daily feedings.
the hardest part is getting started. if anyone is interested i can do a walk through of some of the sciencey stuff that's going on. its more then just a tank :P
