3 1/2 is a lot older than you would think. Especially if the life span of the specific dog is shorter than others (ex: 7 years)

Like I said he/she could or could have been sick

yea, possibly sick. but would that be the only side affect possibly??

He was eating fine, he went out and went to the bathroom throughout the day (stool was fine)

Also, he's a lab mix. vet said if all goes well, he'll live to 14+

back to square one... he randomly got up and peed in the hallway. (not on the bed this time)

I was still awake this time. I feel as if he was sleep walking because he was basically staring at me and I said his name (not yelled) and he jumped a mile. It wasn't even dark in my room since I had my end table light on.

Can dogs sleep walk and pee? o.0

My dog started doing this last year, dogs can do it as a sign of subservience. They are scared to put their own scent around the property so they try and hide it in your scent (To a dog, your bed smells more like you do than you actually do.) My problem was during winter I struggle to get her out for proper exercise but she must have thought she was being punished or something. As soon as spring came around and I got her out for more regular exercise, the problem went away.

Has there been any changes to your regular routine? New people around or regular people leaving? Dogs dont cope very will with change unless what theyre used to is change (If that makes sense lol). If I had to guess I would say this is probably a stress related issue. Give him/her some extra attention during normal hours and if s/he does still pee on the bed make sure to get the point across its not ok.

Seems like an attention issue to me, my dog is a pekingese and if he doesn't get enough attention through the day and such he will shit right outside my door on purpose just to show me the big fuck you

yes I have. He's also gone out at 1am and then peed at 1:30am....

I'm starting to think it is an attention issue too :( Next week we are bringing him camping with us so maybe that'll help!

yeah my breed is a huge attention whore, sucks at times but good to know hw is always there for me even if I can't be there for him.

Make sure your dog wags his tail to the right to know he is happy :)
