yesterday ran into another breed i hadn't seen for more than 10 years: puli

btw, rather than using weight i discriminate more for height but i fully understand that there are many people who cannot handle a strong dog so smaller breeds have their place as well
an energetic larger dog is not the ideal pet for older people or a family with small children but some of the very small breeds are a bit ridiculous

i've heard of and seen pics of Puli breed but i've never seen one irl. cool looking dogs though. i would hate to groom one lol!

my fave breed is a chihuahua. some of them can be really mean but some can be super sweet too!

i miss my old pom-chi! best dog ever! ^_^

Anything smaller then like a blue heeler isn't a dog.

i used to have a red heeler that was awesome! very smart dogs and easy to train! hyper though.

red heeler is the same breed (more are blue than red though)
btw, trainability is not a good measure for intelligence of dogs even though some mistake it for that
(but yes, the various australian cattle dogs are quite smart)

around here in wisconsin its mainly german shepards, collies, australian shepards, black brown and white labs, rottweilers boxers and pitbulls.

which are the only real dogs in my opinion. anything under 60lbs is just a rat in the vague shape of a dog

I have a bitch Belgian Malinois that weighs 50lbs and would rip your face off. Would you not consider her a "real dog"?

why are people always so proud of the potential damage their dogs can cause?

His 60lb requirement for proper canine classification should be closer to the 45lb range; Malinois are proper dogs for sure.

see my post #5
150lbs is not very much for a great dane. must have been very slim at that height (skinny as an irish wolfhound)
