Things to know about pits/pit mixes:
They need-
To be socialized (introduce him to knew people AND new dogs as early and as often as possible)
Lots of exercise (As much as possible)
Discipline. They are not beginner dogs because they can be head strong, and they are very powerful. They do need to be trained, and taught good behaviors.
Best dogs EVER if you give them what they need.
GREAT with kids, and super protective. My sister's pit would die before letting anything happen to her kids or her, he is patient and protective.
