call of the wild-good and cheap

wellness-very good but pricey

blue buffalo-very good but pricey

look for holistic brands with no corn, soy, or wheat

look at your ingredients. if it states an actually meat as the first ingredient then it's usually good for the dog.
NOT meal or corn or anything like that.

yes do this. dogs eat meat not all those horrid ingredients in dog food at walmart.. If your gonna get dog food make sure its good stuff like timberwolf for example.. It cost a bit though.

hmm so i compared my old brand to Blue Buffalo and it got destroyed so i switched im giving it a try and see :thumbsup:
i like that fact that it has actual fruits and veggies in it also and no meat by products.
i read the ingredients on the old brand i fed them and it says it right there "chicken By Products" LOL no thx

i use Blue Buffalo on my own dog, and i gotta say that its a pretty decent brand. his coat looks real good and he digests it well (meaning that he craps less lol). im sticking with it for the time being

taste of the wild is what it's called, that's a great food
hill's science diet is complete shit
the petstore I use to work at taste of the wild was like 45-48 dollars a bag, go with that or natural balance (48-55 a bag)
blue buffalo is pretty good too, but I would go with the two I mentioned.
/e didnt see small breed dog. I would go with natural balance or blue buffalo. I haven't seen any small breed bags of taste of the wild

corn, anything ending in meal, grains, and by-products
