he mostly looks like a lab, but it looks like he has some white markings on him, which isn't typical for labs, they are usually solid. He may have something like pointer in him as well. The white markings on his face look similar to beagle markings, but he really doesn't look like he has any beagle in him. Unless he bays like one

He is definitely mostly lab. If you are hugely concerned what else is in him, DNA testing for dogs has continued to drop in price. I think you can get one done these days for under $100.

my dog doesnt even have 1 matt on him, u obliviously don't know anything about cairn terriers , this dog has thick straw hair, i brushed him last night fool, the dog played all morning/etc and u want to come here and tell me abuse? LOL plus the camera quality is crap makes it look worse, don't get big kid your nothing

yes im sure you brush him like every fool does. runs a brush along the back and on the top of the coat and thinks they brushed them.

the camera quality has nothing to do with it. I guarantee that dog is heavily matted.

And I know quite well what cairn's are and their coat. (that is a very poorly bred cairn).
