my old toy poodle, never "fashionably" clipped

I'll post one of his son later when I get my phone back
i know that there are a lot of poodles (especially giant poodles) which are not fashionably clipped but that seems to be news to many people here
and i have seen other breeds clipped in some odd ways (eg airedale terriers clipped like a fashion poodle)
most people don't realise that the fashionable clipping was a fad created for toy and other small varieties of poodles
and that poodles are really hunting dogs by history - standard clipping was used like with many other breeds who have 'wooly' hair
/add
must have been pretty old your poodle when the picture was taken - more than 15 years?
