Not everyone can afford 400-600$ for drivers ed, and not everyone's parents can afford it either believe it or not...

at that point it makes it almost impossible to have a license before 19, when including the time it takes to get a test date for a permit @ 18, and the amount of time it takes to get a license test after the 6 month period.

Law in maine is that once you reach 15 you are able to go for your permit after taking an approved drivers education course, you can have your license by 16 if you take said course..but the course is wicked fucking expensive. At 18 you can apply for a permit test, the day you pass your test, you get your permit(mine came a few months after i applied). in the next six months, you have to get 30 hours of daytime driving in, and 5 hours of night time driving. Then you can apply for your license after the 6 months is up. Wait for that test date, then take that.

Nope. Not for us. Costs about 500$ plus gas.

u can get ur g1 (the first licence where u can only drive with people who have there g for 4 years+) for 100

in maine its permit and class a/b/c license...a and b are commercial, c is personal...that's it =(

I'm 20 and don't got a class C license. Problem?
