i disapprove of the training of raptors


they are not birds that should be trained, they aren't a conure breed, or even a small breed, it's too dangerous for this to become a growing thing

It's not that dangerous if you know what you're doing. You are required to have a sponsor that knows a lot about the birds, and they help you through the entire process. There is always some risk, but really there's risk with any pet.

Falconry used to be huge, so I don't think it will become more dangerous as it progresses. As long as those practicing Falconry are doing it the legal and recommended way there won't be any problems as it grows.

Falconry has been practiced by Royalty, and peasants alike for many centuries. It was once described as a necessary hobby for a true gentleman.

This Raptor, if I get it, won't be treated as a pet, it will be treated as a hunting companion.

very nice idea,pls do post something about this in the future,also what type of birds would you be using?

I ride my falcon to work. Sometimes I'm late though because when he spots a mouse he gets sidetracked :(
