I would suggest a different dog. Because they require alot of work.
It's all worth it but you won't be able to properly assert your alpha role over a husky when your schedule is so full.
Alright then =] Thank you for your help as wellQuote (zeratul87 @ Apr 6 2011 09:25pm)
my parents had one when i was growing up. cute/pretty but stuck up personality. if that makes sense. we also had a dog at the time we got from the pound. they had completely different personalities
you put food in front of the mut and he went to town
you put food in front of the husky he'd get up and walk away
he was cool to look at, but wasn't nearly as fun to play with as the golden retrievers, boxers, german shepards, etc etc other dogs i've owned.
also very territorial. i remember he took one of my socks and i went to take it from him and he snapped at me. i could pick up my st bernards favorite toy/food with my mouth (not that i would) and he would just watch me do it.
Ahhh I feel the same way; some dogs are very nice to look at but when you interact with them it is very hard to get to them =]Quote (stupidkid282 @ Apr 6 2011 09:26pm)
Got bit across the face by a Siberian Husky when I was young.
scarred for life.

any pet will get anxious,
but dogs(especially big huskies) can destroy furniture , lawns, fences, everything, they NEED to be exercised thoroughly
that's just personality though, most huskies are extremely playful
Ahhhh, yeah I have only had experience with smaller - medium size dogs but not big ones like a husky, wow that is crazy; I have never seen a dog do that except for maybe pooping on the carpet when I come home; and yes huskies look like awesome dogs >D<;
