snowball is a rare pied(white), white faced, lutino(white)

3 "mutations" that classify her as Albino

she is one of about 100(logged in the usa) cockatiels of this specific mutation ( there are lots in australia, but new laws prohibit bringing them to usa )

she's the most friendly, clumsy bird on earth!!

/edit lol she blends in with the background ><

why new laws prohibit bringing them in?
how old are your birds?

just importing animals is illegal now, especially fauna from australia, it's an international crime; and it's with any animals/insects/plants(flora)

spike is ~3 years

snowball is ~6 months

all the cockatiels we see now are bred here in america, usually in aviaries

the general importing of animals/plants are considered an international crime, because it messes with the natural flow of nature

there are rare rare exceptions, but otherwise illegal

and yeah i got the baby when she was too young at like 2-3 months(estimated)

had to buy her a specific diet for about a month before she could eat regular foods and etc

and she's still too clumsy to grow feathers, she breaks them off and can't fly :P

she was about the same size, wasn't like a chick or anything, she's actually considered to be an adult now, still an the young age group, but she can mate and etc

and yeah they won't fly away, spike got away once at his old owners house though :P

i keep them clipped because they are shoulder birds, and they can harm themselves flying into mirrors or windows
