Hello,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Your beardie may indeed be dead, but she also may not. I'm going to give you some steps to take. Buy an electrolyte solution. In the UK, it would be a product called Lectade, which is sold in pet stores. Prepare a shallow bath consisting of 1/2 warm (32*C) water and 1/2 electrolyte solution. Soak your dragon for about 20 to 30 minutes. Reptiles can absorb the electrolytes and fluids through their vents, so make the water deep enough to cover the vent.Be sure to hold her head up so water doesn't go in her nostrils.
After the soak, put her back on the warm side of her cage. which should be 43.5* to 51.5*C. If she's still alive, you should see breathing or other signs shortly after doing this.
Because reptiles are cold-blooded, their bodies don't give off any heat. Therefore, when they feel warm, it can be a sign that death has occurred. Regardless, it can't hurt to try the above steps.
If it turns out that she si still alive, you'll want to provide optimal conditions for her. Pets stores often give out incorrect information on care, so I’m sending along a care sheet, courtesy of Joan, another of our experts. Joan has many years experience keeping and rescuing beardies. If you have more questions, just let me know by clicking on REPLY. The care sheet follows. I hope you'll be able to revive your dragon.
