we have a long haired grey cat who sheds like mad. we brush him pretty much every day but he still leaves hair all over the place.

any type of different brush we should maybe use or I have heard of some air filters that can sometimes help? or maybe even a vacuum that is good at dealing with cat hair preferably a multipurpose portable one.

thanks

Had to buy a Dyson. I wound up getting it for like $300 around xmas 2012, and it has worked wonders in my house.
