What is the best way to prevent my dog from shedding so much?

What breed or mix is it?

I've got a husky/shepard and a lab/shepard mix. I got a Dyson vacuum for the sole purpose of sucking up the almost infinite hair they produce.

I have a chiuaua terrier mix

I have tile floors so it isn't a problem sweeping. But I'm tired of constantly getting dog fur all over my clothes after her just jumping on my lap.

It's seasonal. Dogs shed, can't do much about it.

I'd say keep a roll of duct tape handy, and just use that when the dog sheds on you. Or don't hug him/her if you're wearing clothes you plan on going out in.

A shed- under can be used. It's a comb that picks up the loose hairs. It's supposed to minimize shedding.

Shave its fur off

All dogs shed if u don't like the fur on your clothes don't get a dog wrf!?!? R u serious here??

Tbh it isn't my dog. It's my little sister's.. and I'm annoyed by it.

I usually take care of it.

I'm about to take it to an animal shelter. She barely takes proper care of it.
