So had this litter box they went to bathroom in it etc was all fine, then My mom decided to get these bathroom mats to put under the box to catch any loose litter/piss etc
But then they started to piss on the mats ( which i was told is normal cause there are chemicals in it for that ) and it would get on the floor.
I thought it was the box so I ended up buying a new box with a lid so they walk into it and stuff doesn't get on the floor and took away the mats
But then they started to piss on the sides of the box and partially floor. So i clean it and they continue to do it
So i took off the lid and they stopped a little bit but shortly after they started to piss in the floor in same spot once-twice a day ( They still go in the box but go once or twice outside the box )
And then now I'm back to pads and my old litter box cause I'd rather have them piss on the pads and clean that vs my bathroom floor. but still sometimes piss on the floor

And yes my litter box is cleaned, I scoop/clean it multiple times a day that's not the issue I think i turned em on to diff things

Thoughts/advice?

Woah woah woah, calm down man. There is absolutely NO reason why you needed to post a whole essay here.

Please shorten it to about 1/8th that size maximum for us to be able to read it.

Cats have their own personality and pretty much are similar to that of humans.
If you have something going well in life and someone changes it for you, wouldn't you be piss?
Why change something that is not broken?
When you change their box from the start, it already got them upset. Most times when a cat is urinating anywhere else but their litter box is because of behavioral issues. That or they might have a infection in their bladder.

Have you always had pads out along with their litter box from the start? Or is that something new because they kept urinating outside the box?
Just go back to what you originally had and I'm sure that will solve your problem.

Some questions however.
How many cats do you own?
Have many litter boxes are out?

PM me if would like for faster response, I can answer all your animals needs.

well like i said up there the loose litter/crap was a problem on my floor so i had to sweep and clean in there ( I regret doing this cause i'd rather be sweeping litter than scrubbing piss )
so thats when the pads started being used n then they started to piss on it

No i haven't always had pads what i typed there is why I started to use em
I did go back to my old litter box that i kept n they continued to piss outside the box so i re added the pads so they would piss on there. so i did as i used to but no change

I own 3 cats, 1 lives outside and comes in the house time to time ( mostly in winter ) she goes to bathroom outside etc
and i have 2 inside cats that use the box ( in the summer/spring ima try moving em to outside cats which will be a process and I got vet advice on it )
have 1 litter box, don't want any other areas of my house to smell or deal with same thing my bathroom is
Was also told to try new bedding ( litter ) that's like horse bedding but idk

When they're urinating outside the box, how far apart is it from the litter pan?
Also it is recommended that you have at least 1 litter box for each cat you own, plus an extra. So if you own 3, the ideal number of litter box is 4.
Some cats might not like to share litter pan so therefore they would prefer to do it outside of it than inside.
I think you should reconsider adding if not 2-3 more, 1 more box to the house. In a different area of the house.
New litter will also help but not as effective as other options.

1 is all I can do atm until warmer weather . Why? cause my mom doesn't want another bathroom catified shes allergic to em I'm lucky she lets me keep it in 1 of the bathrooms of the house
It's about a foot away, I may be able to put 2 in the same bathroom but that's it until warmer weather so i can put another 1 in the garage easily

Move the litter box to a different part of the house, show them where it is and keep them out of the room they piss in now, if they aren't fixed you should get that done as well.
