well he's clearly the chosen one, because ive tried boosting numerous people, friends to test and it didnt work. even boosted a 47 and it said "completed" for them, but they couldnt unlock the next tier.

this isnt documented in the patch notes anywhere so here is hoping blizzard just messed up.

Looks like someone here also got the capstone quest at 40 and managed to unlock wt3 at 40. A bit inconsistent, but hopefully if purposeful, it's something like 40/60 and not 50/70.

That was pre patch. 14 hours ago... patch was 11 hours ago.

It took place like 8+ hours after the patch. it's a 12+ hour long video. I watched it live at the end, where the thread says to go, not the beginning that starts before the patch. Oblivious indeed.

Yea it could very well be. I am curious if they didn't get the capstone quest and it caused the issue. I've watched 3 separate instances, post-patch, of pre-40s not getting it, but at 40, with capstone, and clearing capstone after 40 (doesn't count before) to complete the quest, and then it lets them. I haven't seen any pre-60 and 60s with quest do it, but I know that it's presumed that if 40 is for WT3, then 60 is likely for WT4, which would make sense.I would check with your friend if they got the quest, just in case that is a factor since he's definitely past the minimum required level and hopefully it will work for them.

Maybe they added in the old D2 bumper system where at least one person at said level hasn’t completed the dung and can pull the rest of the group through
