Sold me a 306$ Audio planet amplifier 4000 watts Peak, probably about 1200 rms
Could of got it at wal-mart for 129$ ... I should of researched before i left his store...
anyways...

he said that having 1 channel for 2 subs, is better, and cheaper than 2 channel amp, 2 subs?
I would of figured it would be better to have 2 channels? ( easier to wire ).
Does having an amp with 2 channels help support left and right side beats / voices ect?
so like 1 speaker left side would beat at different times than speaker 2 on the right side?

I have compared with friends to sony/pioneer/kicker.
In all honesty I think they all suck, the only brand i've heard slightly better Quality music from was a 375$ kenwood 2 channel amplifier, and 600$ frostgate

This is why I'm asking if 1 or 2 channel really makes a difference or not, because the 2 speakers seemed to be playing beats at slightly different times, which was interesting.
vs with my amp, the beats are at the same exact time...
so i wasn't sure if it was just a wireing issue, or friends amp is slightly off? or if thats really the benefit of 2 channel?
I haven't had another 2 channel amp to compare to yet.

Edit: if it makes a difference I have 2x 15" kicker comp's
2005 honda accord.

Yes. A channel for left and right.
A mono-single channel takes only one input and has the subs use the same channel.
Mono generally more powerful because of that.

4000@ 1ohm would shit fuck those subs lol
