wait til pioneers new head units come out and pick one up in your price range. it'll be a couple weeks before they are out though.
component speakers are the best choice. separate pieces for the tweeter and woofer so no downsides except making you a spot to mount the tweeters(cutting circle in door panel somewhere with a drill and hole saw. takes like 2 secs each.

amp should wait until after the subwoofer is done.
a few reasons to wait on door speaker amp:
1. you'll have to take the car apart more than once if you do one amp and then another amp down the line. wiring them requires taking off trim pieces and door panels so its just easier to wait.
2. without a subwoofer its kind of a waste of performance.
3. your head unit has an amplifier that does a good job already as long as its not competing with a subwoofer lols.
