Downsized from hatchback to sedan, 2 15s won't fit.
I have a box for 2 12s a 500 w rms amp and a 900w amp with bad rcas to work with

Should I just get one of these guys buy a single 12 box and call it a day?

went with this amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_67933_Hifonics-Brutus-BRX1100.1D.html
these subs http://www.crutchfield.com/p_5751P2D212/Rockford-Fosgate-P2D2-12.html?tp=111&omnews=13521458

how bad did i do?

wanted to keep it under 1000w so I (hopefully) don't have to do big 3.... battery feels pretty weak in my car as it is.

also I mainly listen to rap

Would this be correct way to wire them then?
For the bridged green wire in diagram I just use any kind of speaker wire right?

If you sure them in series and then wire them both to the same channel (which it's a mono ) the ohms stay at 2. Approx 800 rms which is a bit more than ideal for p2 subs if I'm not mistaken. A sealed box and they should be able to handle the power.

Actually that is what they are rated for so it is a good match up

dude just save money and do it right.

dont use lead acid battery ever in car audio.
save some $$ get some decent stuff. yourt amp and box are the most important pieces of your car audio. if your not running a lot of watts you can get by with stock alt and big 3 along with a decent agm battery.

i'm not sure about the battery, it's just a generic interstate battery.

Subs are wired to 2 ohms waiting on amp coming in tomorrow

on the 500w rms amp they fucking tear my car apart, these things are perfect for what I was looknig for
