I have a chevy s10 blazer with a single type r 10 running with a 1k sony explode amp and recently when I start my car or turn it off it like hits like there is power going to it but it's not music it's just going by it self and makes a weird buzzing kind of noise is nothing is on. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about or what it is? Thanks

Sounds like a wiring issue. Check all your connections. And make sure your amp isnt touching directly to metal.

that is your ground for sure. you either have a bad grounding point or bad ground wires.
if you have a multimeter you can check continuity at the grounding point to see if is sufficient.

when you have your radio on and the amp is on and you hear a rumbling from the subs that is because your ground is not good. it is causing your amp to become unstable. you can ruin your subs or amp.

if there is a whine type of sound then chack your rca wires, make sure they are not touching or close to any other wires
