Which ones should I use for 6.5 inch speakers and which ones should I use for 4x6 speakers?

I installed the yellow 0-1.2k hz Stingers on my front 6.5 and rear 4x6 speakers already.
They seem about right for my rears, maybe made em a little more quiet, but today I put them on the 6.5 also, and it definitely made them more quiet.

I was thinking the green Stingers which are 0-600 hz?

Crutchfield says the 300hz for my 6.5" speakers and 600hz for my 4x6 speakers.

Sonic Electronics says 600hz for my 6.5" speakers and 1.2k hz for my 4x6 speakers.

I believe these are 2 different brands as well.

You shouldnt need them if you have a half decent headunit where you can just set the HPF 125hz. Those are crossed way too high LOL. Is this on a stock HU?

Yeah I know which is why I'm looking to change the ones I bought. I think they def do their job, and well..at 10 bucks for a set of speakers, meh.
I'll try adjusting the HPF on the headunit. It has that setting.

you shouldnt need those capacitors at all, just do it all from the HU itll cut out the low frequencies

Yeah but the subwoofers are connected to the HU with RCAs, won't that cut out some bass from the subs?

HPF is for speakers
LPF is for subwoofers.

If you turn the HPF to say 100hz on your headunit, it will not affect the subs.

Yeah I'm learning more about this stuff everyday.
I'm gonna remove the bass blockers entirely tmrw and see how I like that before purchasing different ones.
