No if anything its less stressful on the amp, what sub and what amp? is it a dual voicecoil woofer?

amp is a shit insignia 1000w 2 channel.

Its literally a piece but I bought it like 7 years ago and it still works so I tried it out, l0l.

yea just go 4 ohms into each speaker channel since that amp is a 2chan, dont bother bridging spec sheet said it put out the same power.

set HPF off or to lowest setting and the LPF to 80-100 depending on what you listen to

set lpf 45-55 hz above tuning is usually what i do.. otherwise u get that sloppy bass if u set it to high

yea amps roll off at different slopes so its weird, but i like the punchy shit :P

I must have it set right because I don't hear anything sloppy. If I read correctly that sub is only getting like less than 300 watts, right?
