I stripped my sub and amp from my old car and installed it in my new one, however, the factory head unit is not powerful enough to run it reasonably.
I really like the way my factory head unit looks in the dash and how it is able to connect with all of the other electronics in the car. Is there any way that I can improve the power it is able to supply to my sub and amp without replacing it?
I still have my old head unit that worked beautifully, but I would prefer to keep my new factory one installed if possible. I am willing to spend a reasonable amount for the improved sound quality whilst maintaining the original aesthetic.

Try A adaptor from Walmart? It's 30can here in Canada.
That's what I did to my 07 impala.

What kind of adaptor do you mean?
I have not heard of an adaptor that can do this so am unsure what I should search for.

You will need a line out converterr that converts your speaker wires out of your HU into the RCA signal for your amp

Mine was made by scosche it's called.
Amp ad-on adaptor.
On the bottom it says "add amp+sub to factory stereo"
