So, I have a raspberry pi on the way, and I have a projector, and I have an outdoor screen that I built last summer, and now I need a source of sound that isn't store bought.
My plan: Build the raspberry pi + a display on a plywood box that I will fabricate, but the trick is to have speakers built into said box.
I have the stock speakers from my 96 blazer, I have 4 of them, not sure about anything more than that.
How can I power these speakers and use them to plug into the aux input on the raspberry pi?

Don't use the stock speakers.. They suck. If you don't wanna spend a bunch of money on it then just go to Walmart and buy a cheap pair of pioneers.. They will be way better... If you wanna power the speakers you can use a car battery or power supply. Use a car head unit that has a Aux input and use a Aux cord to connect the 2.

Wouldnt be so hard with an external processor like a a rockford 360.. expensive $$$$

get a computer power supply. and run the power and ground to a headunit. i used to do this in my room all before i had a car. ran a 1000w kenwood amp off of it and a h/u with 4 speakers

or a battery charger and a battery.
you can also make a setup where an alternator is spun via a electric motor and get a external voltage regulator

if its for outdoor use id find a marine headunit and speakers. most headunits have remotes these days so thats a plus too.
