looking at some replacement door speakers

some have dome tweeters and some have horn tweeters

obviously horns amplify sound but only in a certain direction?

what would sound better in a rear deck and front doors?

Don't bother with rear deck speakers. Focus on the front doors. Get a decent pair of components and a amp to run them. Install is more important than the brand.. Sound deadening the doors and makeing sure your installation is right will be way better.

well. i only have dash 3.5 front door 6x9 and rear deck 6x9

no speakers in rear doors.

and a good front stage is pretty expensive .

Not so much man. Right now I'm running a pioneer 80 prs and some pwx 6.5s with some rts-1 silk dome tweeters on a Symphony series 800.4 Crescendo amp.. Sounds amazing mixed with my sub stage. Although I don't have the baddest biggest setup around its plenty for the average Joe. 1 12 inch d2 ssa zcon in a 2.75 cubed box tuned to 30hz. Running on a bc3500. Can hear all the words beautifully and still gets pretty low and nasty.. Ssa audio store has some really good deals from time to time.. Check em out. Also I would suggest joining their forum to ask serious questions about audio that you could never learn here..

i have one in each of my cars, rear USBs broke from vibration though
