when I use different car It has better stereo signal and I hear everything just fine the sound is stable it doesn't go away all of sudden

did some looking around on VWs of these years and it seems like the antenna corrodes and needs replaced after a while.

so yeah pretty sure you are looking at buying a replacement antenna.
